So the librarians are at it again, and I can't resist. My never-ending quest to be the Queen-Geek of my department continues.
I think the librarians accidentally let out a post about presentation tools a month ago. I saw their note about Prezi and I checked it out. I have a umn.edu email so I got the education version. I did a lecture on Prezi and it was pretty cool. I'm by no means proficient, but here's my prezi for a sweeping overview of pulmonary badness for new employees. It only took a week or two to figure out. And it helped my organize my thoughts.

Warning: if clicking quickly, you may get nauseated in the "Management Priorities" circle. It was my first prezi. I know, not a lot of details on the prezi - the learners got handouts.
I'm looking forward to learning some new tricks and getting CME along the way. Keep it up, librarians.
Thanks, Jessie

Thanks for sharing your presentation! We are glad you could take advantage of Prezi. What were the additional features of the "educational version"?
ReplyDeleteEducation version gets you the ability to make your presentation private. It also takes away the prezi watermark.
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired us! We are going to create a presentation in Prezi for the upcoming ICSI conference.
